ANNUAL JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAM IN BARCELONA

A year-round training program for junior players who want to improve their tennis throughout the season with continuity, structure, and professional guidance. At MBA Tennis Academy, each player can find the option that best fits their stage of development, whether through the Performance Program, the Competition Program, or the High-Performance Program, all within a serious, supportive environment focused on real progress.

A TRAINING PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR DEVELOPMENT THROUGHOUT THE SEASON

MBA Tennis Academy’s Junior Annual Program is designed for young players who need more than a short-term training experience. It is aimed at those who want to work on their tennis consistently throughout the year, within a stable structure that allows them to improve with purpose, consolidate their strokes, and progress step by step according to their age, level, and goals.

Unlike an intensive format or a shorter program, the Annual Training Program allows us to support the player’s development more effectively, monitor progress over a longer period, and build much more solid improvement in the medium and long term.

The goal is not simply to train more, but to train better, in a professional environment on the Barcelona coast, in Cabrils, where players can grow in their game, their confidence, and their ability to compete or continue progressing in tennis.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR?

The Junior Annual Program is designed for players aged 10 to 18 who want to train regularly throughout the season, surrounded by other young players of a similar age and supported by a team of professionals who guide them through their development.

PLAYERS LOOKING TO IMPROVE WITH CONSISTENCY

It is ideal for young players who want to train on a regular basis in order to consolidate their technique, build rhythm on court, and progress with a stronger tennis foundation.

PLAYERS IN A DEVELOPMENT STAGE

This option is designed for players who want to keep improving the technique of their strokes through structured training and progression adapted to their stage of development.

PLAYERS WHO WANT TO COMPETE

For young players who already compete occasionally or regularly and want to learn how to read their opponent’s game, understand tactics, and develop the most effective match strategies.

PLAYERS WITH GREATER AMBITION

Designed for young players who are aiming to take the next step towards the professional circuit, or for those working towards a sports scholarship in the USA, within a more demanding environment, with a greater training load and a clearer focus on high performance and competition.

WHAT DOES AN ANNUAL TRAINING PROGRAM OFFER?

The greatest value of an annual training format lies in its continuity. When a player trains throughout the season, they have more time to absorb corrections, build strong habits, follow a logical progression, and develop their tennis in greater depth under the guidance of elite coaches.

This program can help players to:

  • improve their technique more consistently
  • build rhythm, consistency, and confidence on court
  • work on tactics with greater continuity
  • develop training habits and sporting discipline
  • prepare more effectively for competition
  • progress within a more complete development process
  • integrate tennis into a well-structured sporting routine
  • grow with more realistic and sustained follow-up over time

THREE ANNUAL JUNIOR PROGRAM OPTIONS

Within the Junior Annual Program, MBA Tennis Academy offers three different options in order to better match each player’s profile, level of commitment, and stage of development.

ANNUAL PROGRAM

HIGH PERFORMANCE

  • Age: from 14 years old
  • Training: 5 days per week

This is the most demanding pathway within the Junior Annual Program, created for players who are fully committed to their tennis and ready for a more intensive training structure, a higher workload, and an environment strongly focused on competition and performance.

Players in this group follow an online academic programme that allows them to combine training and tournament schedules with their studies.

For some players, this pathway can also be part of their preparation for a U.S. college scholarship or for the transition towards professional tennis.

ANNUAL PROGRAM

COMPETITION

  • Age: 12 and above
  • Training: 3 days per week

This programme is designed for players who already have a solid level of tennis and are committed enough to take part in selected competitions during the season.

The aim is to provide a consistent training structure that helps them continue improving their strokes and movement on court, with a strong focus on learning how to apply tactics and game patterns in match situations.

Players are required to hold a valid Federation Licence.

ANNUAL PROGRAM

PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT

  • Age: 8 and above
  • Training: 2 days per week

This programme is designed for players who already have a good foundation in tennis and want to keep progressing through a training structure that matches their stage of development.

At this level, the focus is on building stronger fundamentals, improving the technique of the main strokes, and developing movement as a key part of the player’s overall improvement.

HOW TO KNOW WHICH ANNUAL OPTION IS THE RIGHT FIT

Not every player needs the same training rhythm. For this reason, choosing between the different annual tennis training options, Performance Development, Competition or High Performance, depends on factors such as the player’s age, previous experience, current level of play, training frequency, level of commitment, and goals within tennis.

MBA Tennis Academy’s technical team, made up of former professional players and elite coaches, assesses each case individually in order to guide the family towards the most suitable option and place the player in the training group that best supports their development.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE JUNIOR ANNUAL PROGRAM

The Annual Program is designed as an ongoing tennis training pathway that supports the player’s development throughout the season through:

  • regular technical and tactical training
  • small groups organised by level
  • ongoing monitoring of the player’s development
  • tennis-specific physical conditioning
  • training adapted to the player’s stage and goals
  • professional guidance throughout the season
  • a serious, supportive, and well-structured training environment

WHY CHOOSE AN ANNUAL PROGRAM AT MBA TENNIS ACADEMY

The Junior Annual Program is designed for families and players who understand that real improvement in tennis takes time, continuity, and the right guidance.

At MBA Tennis Academy, players do not simply join a routine of classes. They become part of a structured training process with ongoing follow-up and a clear focus on their tennis development. This gives greater meaning to the work being done, helps define goals more clearly, and allows each player to grow within a stable, demanding, and professional environment.

The result is a Program for those looking for more than isolated training sessions. It is for players seeking real development throughout the season, in a motivating environment and with an ideal climate for playing tennis all year round.
